The Glass Underground is a full service glass fusing and public access studio, offering comprehensive workshops, studio rentals, glass fusing supplies, and an art and gift gallery. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better-appointed space in Northern New Jersey. There's a wide-open work area with movable work tables and a whole wall of strip cutting stations. There is also an adjunct classroom for powders, plasters, and chemicals. We have nineteen kilns of all shapes and sizes, an incredibly extensive mold library, and a fully furnished cold working room containing all the equipment you would need for professional quality glass finishing.
Art Gallery and Retail Space
Walking into our studio, the first thing you will see is our bright and beautiful art glass gallery with gifts, housewares, and artwork from a variety of glass artists, both local and national. We're always on the lookout for more artists to show their work in our gallery, so if you're interested contact us.
GLASS FUSING SUPPLIES
The Glass Underground carries the full line of Bullseye glass products priced 30% below retail every day. We stock an extensive selection of glass fusing supplies including molds, tools, kilns, dichroic glass, cold working equipment and just about anything else you would need to create your fused glass art. We also plan on carrying torch working supplies in the near future.
Everything we have in-store is available in our online store. If we don't have what you need, contact us and we'll try to get it for you!
