Light Orange Transparent Frit (1025)

  • Save $0.00

Sulfur glass that reacts to copper glasses. Light Orange is a striking glass. Striking glasses are those which, when in their cold state, do not display their target color. They must be fired and held at 1225 degrees for a period of time before reaching that target color. This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalize and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also opalize and/or become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters. Slight reactive potential to lead bearing glass.
